Busy Boy Takes His Break

You know, it’s been crazy around here since I got word about that job. It’s amazing how much stuff needs to be done to slow down a business, modest as mine is. (Reading my regular blogs has been the first casualty.) Plus, in about an hour-an-a-half, BeeGoddessM and Stephanie will be picking me up to drive me to the airport. Yay! Tiens-toi bien Montréal, j’arrive! (Rough translation, “Montréal, here I come.” And while I really should urge you to get your mind out of the gutter, but I won’t.)

I’m ready. My suitcase is packed and all I have left to do is shower and run a quick errand. I’ll be back in Halifax Monday evening, but starting the moment I post this entry, I am considering myself on vacation.

See ya!

  1. LOL! Enjoy the vacation!

I have one last guy to get moved and I’ll be out of the hosting business. I think I’m down to one design client, as well. There are a couple out there who will still contact me once or twice a year to make a simple change and I’ll probably do it, but I’m basically out of the business except for helping the pastor of my current church get the site going.

It’s been one of my busiest months, getting out of the business.

  2. By the time you read this, you are likely to have returned. So, I hope your well-deserved vacation was as enjoyable as possible.

Maurice adds: You doubt me! A webmaster always gains access to the Internet! But the next thing I’m heading for is Vietnamese food… Yum! Everything’s so easy and accessible is a big city.

  3. Wow… that’s pretty interesting since I’m in Ottawa and Montreal too! 🙂

Maurice adds: Yeah, I found that out when I checked out your blog just before leaving today after a week of not reading blogs. Wouldn’t it be funny if we’d meet in Montreal (when you’re back from Ottawa) given that we live only 2.5 hours apart? Bizarre!

  4. I wish I had gone to Montreal, sounds like it was a great idea, even if it is a bit chilly there. I was just in Ottawa this last week, brrrrr.
