There is white trash in Canada as well? I thought this is a Yankee thing. Is there no escape? We may have to reconsider our move to Canada now, lol.

Sorry that you have to deal with these…um…rather colorful people. Makes life interesting though, doesn’t it? But you’ll find these types of people everywhere. I had my share when I was still living in Munich and London wasn’t much better. I guess, there truly is no escape.

I love the French word canicule as well! It has been incredibly yhot and humid so far this summer here in the Maritimes as well. Thank god we have central air and are able to keep the temp down to about 22 C.

I find it amazing that it’s hotter in Canada than in Southern California in July. Even my friends in Germany complain how hot and humid it is there. We spent the 4th of July holiday weekend in Los Angeles and it was surprisingly cold there.

It is truly screwed up, that beautiful little blue marble of ours. And we humans are doing a marvelous job keeping on doing it.
